The Uranium Corporation of India (UCIL) Recruitment 2026 notification released for 91 posts of Apprentices. Candidates with B.Com, B.Tech/B.E, Diploma, ITI, 10TH Can Apply Online. The Online application process for UCIL Recruitment 2026 has started on 10-04-2026 and will remain open until 09-05-2026. The candidate shall apply online through UCIL website, ucil.gov.in.

UCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Category-wise Vacancy Details

A total of 91 vacancies are distributed across three training categories — Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI), Technician Apprentice (Diploma), and Graduate Apprentice. The trade-wise breakup is given below.

1. Ex-ITI Trade Apprentice (1-Year Training) - 48 Posts

2. Technician Apprentice (Diploma) - 30 Posts

3. Graduate Apprentice - 13 Posts

UCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the minimum prescribed qualification mentioned against each trade as listed in the vacancy tables above. All mark sheets and certificates must be uploaded — a passing certificate alone will not be accepted. Candidates awaiting results/mark sheets are not eligible.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 years (minimum) and 25 years (maximum) as on 09 May 2026. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PwBD, and other applicable categories will be as per Government of India guidelines.

Reservation

Reservation for SC/ST, EWS, OBC (NCL), and Physically Handicapped (PwBD) candidates shall be as per Government of India guidelines.

Priority / Preference in Selection

• 1st Preference: Land Displaced Person (LDP) category candidates.
• 2nd Preference: Local candidates from Project Affected Families (PAP) within 5 km radius of Tummalapalle unit (as per R&R Policy).
• 3rd Preference: Wards of employees working in any unit of UCIL.

Hard copies for LDP and Employee Ward claims must be sent to the Personnel Section, UCIL Tummalapalle on or before the last date of application.

UCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Stipend

Stipend will be paid as per the rates prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992/2019/2025, as amended from time to time.

Employment Note: As per the Apprentices Act, 1961, it shall NOT be obligatory for UCIL to employ apprentices on completion of training. There is no provision for direct employment in UCIL on completion of apprenticeship training.

• No application fee has been mentioned in the official advertisement. Candidates can register through the NAPS / NATS portal free of charge.

UCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process

Selection will be on a merit basis - based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination for the respective trade. No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for document verification or reporting to the training location.

• A provisional merit list will be prepared based on details entered in the online portal.
• Physical verification of original documents will be done at the time of joining.
• Results will be published on www.uraniumcorp.in. Selected candidates will be informed via their registered email ID.
• Management reserves the right to cancel/modify/restrict the selection process without assigning any reason.

How to Apply for UCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Applications must be submitted online only through the respective government portals. No offline or other mode of application will be considered.

• Graduate Apprentice: nats.education.gov.in

1. Register on the portal: Visit the appropriate portal (NAPS for Trade Apprentice / NATS for Diploma & Graduate). Click on the Registration tab and complete registration. A confirmation email with an activation link will be sent to your registered email ID (e.g., Registration No. A000000000). Click the link to activate your account.

2. Complete your profile: Log in and fill in all personal, educational, and bank account details to confirm your registration. Ensure the Aadhaar-linked bank account details are accurate.

3. Upload required documents: Upload self-attested copies of — Matriculation certificate & all mark sheets, Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL only), EWS certificate (if applicable), Medical certificate (PwBD only), Photograph & signature, Aadhaar Card & PAN Card, Aadhaar-linked bank account details, Land Acquisition Certificate (for LDP) / Aadhaar Card for PAP family / UCIL ID card for employee wards.

4. Select Apprenticeship Opportunity: After registration, click on the Apprenticeship Opportunities tab. Select your desired trade and choose the unit: Uranium Corporation of India Limited, Tummalapalle, Andhra Pradesh. This must be done on or before 09 May 2026.

5. For LDP / Employee Wards: Send hard copies of the Land Displaced Person Certificate or Employee Ward Certificate (along with a self-attested copy of the UCIL employee ID card) by post to the Personnel Section, UCIL, Tummalapalle on or before the last date of application.

All previous applications submitted before the date of this advertisement will NOT be considered. Such candidates must apply afresh through the portal within the stipulated dates.
