Eligibility Criteria
Selection Process
Written Examination
100 Marks · 1.5 Hours · Objective Type · 0.25 negative marking for wrong answers. Topics: General Kannada, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning & Basic Maths.
Physical Standards Test (PST)
Height, Weight, and Chest measurement as per KSP standards (different criteria for Male, Female & Transgender candidates).
Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Running, long jump, high jump, and other fitness tests. Male candidates: 1600m run; Female candidates: 800m run within prescribed time limits.
Medical Examination
Candidates who clear PET/PST must appear before a Medical Officer for fitness certification. Vision, hearing, and general health are checked.
Final Merit List & Appointment
Based on Written Exam marks, a final merit list is prepared. Documents verified and appointment orders issued by Karnataka State Police.
